Climate Planning was a consultant to NCCARF for stakeholder engagement from April 2010 to June 2013. This involved working with the private sector, Australian local governments and local government associations to identify council research needs for implementation of climate change adaptation.
Climate Change in the Boardroom
Climate Planning worked in partnership with Future Ready Pty Ltd and DLA Piper on the Climate Change in the Boardroom project. The study engaged the private sector through discrete boardroom lunches in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to explore appropriate pathways for engaging businesses to discuss climate change risks and adaptation.
20th Century Reanalysis Project for Australian Agriculture
Climate Planning assisted in adaptation planning and climate modelling on the applicability of the 20th Century Reanalysis Project (20CRP) for Australian agriculture.
Climate Change Adaptation Training Package for AusAid
Climate Planning created and delivered a climate change adaptation training package as part of the fostering business sustainability for competitiveness in Pakistani Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) project.
Tasmanian Coastal Adaptation Pathways
Climate Planning reviewed the Tasmanian Coastal Adaptation Pathways project and provide a critical analysis of the process and outcomes.
Climate Change Implementation Guidelines
Climate Planning provided advice on architectural design for climate change adaptation and identified goal conflicts to be used in the Climate Change Implementation Guidelines for stormwater and flooding in development assessment.
