Queensland Climate Resilient Councils 2018

Climate Planning worked with the LGAQ to deliver the Queensland Climate Resilient Councils (Q CRC) project. This project is a five-year program working with Queensland local governments to strengthen internal council decision-making processes to respond to climate change. This included a detailed assessment of climate change adaptation governance for 28 local governments in 2018.

Climate Planning was engaged by The Tasmanian Climate Change Office (TCCO) to assess the climate change adaptation governance for all 29 Tasmanian local governments using the Informed.City tool. This also included a detailed assessment of adaptation governance for 17 councils.

Climate Change Adaptation Governance for ACT

Climate Planning was engaged by the Environment Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate to identify indicators for climate change adaptation and review adaptation governance of each directorate in the ACT.

SCC Coastal Hazards Adaptation Strategy – Phases 1 & 2

Climate Planning was engaged by Sunshine Coast Regional Council to implement Phases 1 and 2 of their Coastal Hazards Adaptation Strategy. This included delivering a communication plan, stakeholder engagement plan, a project management plan, and a scoping coastal hazard study for Phases 3-8.
